ABOUT

Hi! I’m Ray Hargreaves.

Creative director, designer, video editor, motion graphics animator, and project manager for over 15 years.

My love of art, design, music, and user experience led me to complete my BA at Pacific University for Integrated Media in 2007. 

I began my professional career at a design & marketing agency for 5 years, where I learned how to serve under an art director and work directly with clients’ needs. I then joined as the Media Assistant for a denominational network of churches and conferences across the state of Oregon.

This led me to become the Creative Director over both a church and school, where I spent 10 years focusing on cohesive branding, quality control, and caring for teams. My responsibilities grew to include directing and editing video, volunteer coordination, art directing teams, pastoral care, and project management. 

I continue to live and work in Salem, Oregon where I was born and raised. I love the friendships and community I’ve found through our local church, but my greatest joy in life is spending time with my incredible wife Kortney, as we raise our newborn son, Victor.

On the side, I have a never-ending passion for the unique qualities of video games, and regularly host evenings for playing Super Smash Bros. I’ve enjoyed composing original electronic albums, creating webcomics and podcasts with a friend from California, and experiencing unique artistry through movies and games.
